Payments and transactions

This is an article about payments and transactions in your AdMob account. It discusses how to find payments information in your account, how to track your payments with transactions and timelines for receiving payments depending on your form of payment.

Access payments and transactions

  1. Sign in to your AdMob account at https://apps.admob.com.
  2. Click Payments to view your payments information.
  3. From the 'Payments' page, you can click View transactions to see your monthly transactions.

Payment cycle and thresholds

The AdMob payment cycle is monthly. You accrue estimated earnings over the course of a month, and then at the beginning of the following month your earnings are finalised and posted to the balance in the 'Transactions' section of the 'Payments' page. If your balance exceeds the payment threshold and you have no payment holds, you'll be issued a payment on or around the 21st of the month.

Example

Let's say that you accrue estimated earnings throughout the month of June. By 3 July, you'll find your 1–30 June finalised total earnings credited to transactions. You'll then be issued a payment for your June earnings and any other credits on your balance as one lump sum around 21 July.

Note: The exact time that you receive your payment will depend on your time zone, whether the 21st falls on a weekend or holiday, and your chosen form of payment.

Payment thresholds

If your monthly earnings didn't reach the payment threshold, your earnings will be rolled over and combined with your next month's earnings. If your new balance exceeds the payment threshold, you'll be issued a payment at the end of the following month.

Example

If your June earnings did not meet the payment threshold, they'll be rolled over and combined with your July earnings. If your new balance exceeds the payment threshold, we'll issue a single lump sum payment for your combined June and July earnings at the end of August.

Note: If a payment hold prevented your most recent balance from payment in our normal payment cycle, your payment will be issued within a few days of removing the payment hold.

Track your payments

On the 'Payments' page, transactions are updated to indicate the progress of your payments. Line items added and updated throughout the month as your earnings are finalised and then issued for payment. You also might notice other line items for various payments and credits. Click your form of payment below to view your customised payment timeline.

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

Review this monthly calendar for different payment milestones and to learn when you'll be paid each month if you've selected 'Bank transfer' as your form of payment.

  • Third of each month: Your estimated earnings for the previous month are finalised and posted to transactions, where a line item with your earnings total added to the previous month's transactions.

Transactions also displays any deductions related to adjustments or fees. You may not view line items for invalid activity deductions taken during the finalisation process. Learn more about how Google prevents invalid activity.

  • 20th of each month: Changes to payment information (including removing payment holds) must be completed on or before the 20th. Changes made after the 20th of the month won't take effect until the following month's payment cycle. Also, your total balance on the 20th must reach the payment threshold. If your balance does not meet the payment threshold or if you have a payment hold, you are not paid that month and your balance is rolled over to the following month.

  • 21st of each month: On the 21st of the month, a 'Payment in progress' line appears in transactions, indicating that the earnings are processed and issued to your banking institution. When this line item updates to say 'Payment Initiated', this means that our bank has accepted the payment and it has been sent for processing.

  • Seven working days: You should receive your payment up to seven working days after it was issued. If you haven't received it by the end of the month, please follow up with your bank.

If the 21st falls on a weekend or public holiday, payments may be issued on the first working day following the 21st of that month.
