Manage Account

About Manage Account delegation

Only available in Google Ad Manager 360.

In Multiple Customer Management (MCM), the Manage Account delegation type grants parent publishers edit access to manage inventory directly in a child publisher account. The child publisher retains permissions and access to all settings.

  • A parent publisher can use the Manage Account delegation with multiple child publishers.
  • A child publisher can only have one parent publisher with the Manage Account delegation.

Payment facilitation

Manage Account offers payment facilitation, where Google can automatically send earnings accrued in the child network to the parent. For reseller partners, this percentage is always 100%. For other partners, this percentage is specified in the invitation from the parent to the child and can vary from 0-100%.

Note: Identity Verification (IDV) is required for the child publisher's payments profile and, when the verification workflow is initiated, it must be completed using the child publisher's own legal name and official identity documents, even when 100% of Ad Exchange payments are routed to the reseller's master payments profile through payment facilitation.

However, for managed accounts where 100% of the revenue is directed to the parent reseller, the child publisher's payments profile does not accumulate earnings and may therefore never reach the payment threshold that triggers the ID vertification. As a result, the child publisher may not be prompted to complete IDV. This does not affect payment facilitation, and the parent reseller will continue to receive the revenue generated by the child publisher according to the configured payment setup.

Payment facilitation applies to earnings from the child's Primary Ad Exchange account for the following transaction types:

  • Open Bidding (except where the third-party demand partner directly pays the child or a third party on the child's behalf)
  • Preferred Deals
  • Programmatic Guaranteed
  • Private Auctions
  • Open Auctions
