These user role permissions are for protections:
- View protections: View-only access to all Protections pages.
- Edit indirect protections: Can edit General categories, Sensitive categories, Advertiser URLs, Cookies and data uses, Restricted categories, Ad technologies, and Network-level protections.
- Edit direct protections: Can edit Advertisers/Brands, Custom labels, and Competition protections.
These built-in user roles have the following protections access:
- Administrator: View and edit all protections
- Administrator (Ad Manager only): View and edit direct protections
- Ad Exchange Manager: View and edit indirect protections
