Monitor Private Auctions for bid responses issues

Identify any potential bid responses issues or in lower matched ad requests.

  1. Navigate to Sales and then Private Auctions.

  2. Ensure that you are on the Per deal tab and find the Private Auction you want to monitor or troubleshoot.

  3. Click View under the "Deal Check" column to see key metrics.

You can get a quick snapshot of the health of Private Auctions by sorting with the following:

  • 7 day impressions: Identify any active deals with either zero or a very low number of available impressions. If the numbers are lower than expected, you should check the deal's targeting settings or your Ad Exchange backfill settings in your Google Ad Manager account.
  • 7 day fill rate: Identify any active deals with a low fill rate. For these deals, you should click to view the details in the Deal Check report to determine why they are not transacting and what you or your buyer can do to troubleshoot.

Deal Check is intended for use with accepted Private Auctions using real-time bidding (RTB) only. If you use Deal Check on a Private Auction with a buyer that uses static bidding, some or all of the data may be missing or inaccurate.
