Find an app ID or ad unit ID

You can copy and paste the app ID and any ad unit ID(s) into your app's code. This article explains where to find and copy your app ID and ad unit ID(s).

  • App ID: A unique ID number assigned to your apps when they're added to Google Ad Manager. The app ID is used to identify your apps.
  • Ad unit ID: A unique ID number assigned to each of your ad units when they're created in Google Ad Manager. The ad unit ID is added to your app's code and used to identify ad requests from the ad unit.

Example of where to find and copy the app ID in Google Ad Manager

  1. Sign in to Google Ad Manager.
  2. Navigate to Inventory, then Apps.

    All visible apps are shown by default. You can click All visible apps to show All apps.

  3. Locate your app and copy the ID in the "App ID" column.

  3. Locate and open your app.
  4. Click Ad units.
