Create category mappings in bulk

You can manage multiple category mappings at once by uploading a .csv (comma-separated values) file of signals into Google Ad Manager.

Note: Some sensitive categories aren't supported. If your .csv file includes a mapping with an unsupported category, an error message indicates the value is not valid.

Columns in the .csv file

The values for each column in the .csv file must follow these formatting rules.

Field name Data type Acceptable values
entityType Enum

entityId Number The Ad Manager IDs of the entity
  • If your entity type is audience segment, use an audience segment ID.
  • If your entity type is custom targeting, use a value ID of the key-value pair.
  • If your entity type is CMS metadata, use the value ID of the CMS metadata pair.
taxonomyType Enum

IAB_CONTENT_2_2
