To make ad partner selection easier, you can run a cookie scan with Sourcepoint to generate a list of the ad partners you already work with. When you upload the generated JSON file to your Ad Manager account, you can choose to append those ad partners to the previously selected list or replace the previous selections with the new list of ad partners.
Run a cookie scan with Sourcepoint
Complete the following steps to run a cookie scan:
- Sign in to Google Ad Manager.
- Click Privacy & messaging.
- Click European regulations.
- Click Settings.
- On the Sourcepoint card, click Run scan to go to the Sourcepoint site.
You will be taken to a third-party site that isn’t controlled by Google. By visiting this third-party site, you acknowledge and agree that Google will not have any liability arising from or related to acts or omissions of the third party, the third-party site, or your use of the third party’s products and/or services.
- On the Sourcepoint site, follow the instructions to run a cookie scan for your domain and download the resulting JSON file.
Upload the Sourcepoint JSON file to Ad Manager
Complete the following steps to upload the Sourcepoint JSON file to Ad Manager:
- Sign in to Google Ad Manager.
- Click Privacy & messaging.
- Click European regulations.
- Click Settings.
- On the Sourcepoint card, click Upload report in European regulations settings.
- Click Upload and follow the on-screen instructions to upload the JSON file you received from Sourcepoint.
- Choose whether to merge with the existing list of ad partners or replace the existing list completely.
- Merge with existing ad partners: Any previously selected ad partners will remain selected and will be merged with the list of ad partners contained in your uploaded report.
- Replace ad partners: Any previously selected ad partners will be deselected and replaced with the list of ad partners contained in your uploaded report.
- Click Confirm ad partners to save your decision and update the list of ad partners.
