In app payment defaults to wrong Google account. How to change this?
I have 2 Google accounts and one has a credit balance. I would like to make an in app purchase but when I do the payment defaults to the wrong account. Is there a way to fix this?
For anyone still looking for a solution to this, it's a stupid one, but it worked for me.
Uninstall the app, then go to the WEB BROWSER VERSION of the play store, make sure you're logged into the right account (very important) then download it from there, wait for it to install.
Yep doesn't work i have 7 accounts both on 2 phones. In game purchase I'm trying to do on primary account is pulling Google play from different account. Does it on both phones with same primary account... was working just fine until 2 days ago.

I too thought it was a play issue but took the advice of someone above and it worked like a charm. Decided to give it a try. I went to Google Pay and removed the account that they kept trying to take payment from. Went back to my app to make a purchase and FINALLY it linked to my other Google account to use as a payment method so I could my Google rewards. Thank you so very much!
