Use accessibility features with your Camera app

Important: Guided Frame is available on Pixel 6 and later, including Fold.

When you take a photo with Guided Frame, you can get cues to help you frame the image. Guided Frame signals when your subject is in view. A visual frame surrounds your subject, and verbal cues and vibrations signal when to take the photo.

This feature works with:

  • Front and rear cameras.
  • Photo and Portrait modes.

Tip: Portrait mode will only detect faces.

Turn on Guided Frame

On your phone settings:

  1. On your device, open the Settings app.
  2. Search for 'TalkBack'.
  3. Turn on TalkBack.
  4. Open your Camera app Google Camera.

On your Camera app:

  3. Turn on Guided Frame.

Tips:

  • Guided Frame is enabled by default when your phone is in TalkBack mode.

Use Guided Frame
