Add or edit a group's welcome message

A group's welcome message appears below the group name on the group’s conversation list.

Add or edit a welcome message

  1. Sign in to Google Groups.
  2. Click the name of a group.
  3. On the left, click Group settingsand thenGeneral.
  4. In the Welcome message field, enter, edit, or delete your message text.
  5. Click Save changes.
