Turn alert center alerts on or off

By configuring a rule in the Google Admin console, you can turn alert center alerts on or off. You can also use a rule to configure other settings, for example to configure alert center email notifications. 

Turn alert center alerts on or off:

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

    Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. At the top, click Menu Menu and select Security and then Alert Center. You’ll see any alerts for your domain. 
  3. Click the gear icon for Alert Rules Settings in the upper-right corner.
    This opens the rules page.
  4. From the list on this page, click a rule that corresponds with one of the alert center alerts— for example, User-reported phishing.
  5. Click the Actions panel.
  6. Turn the alert on or off.
  7. Click NEXT: REVIEW.
  8. Click UPDATE RULE.

Note: The Google operations alert is On by default and cannot be turned off.
