As an administrator, you can protect your organization’s data by locking a managed device. You can also reset the device’s password.
Lock a device
If you lock a device, users must enter a password before they can use the device.

Sign in to your Google Admin console.
Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

From the Admin console Home page, go to Devices
Mobile devices.
- Select the device and click Lock Device.
Reset a device password

Sign in to your Google Admin console.
Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

From the Admin console Home page, go to Devices
Mobile devices.
- Select the device and click Reset Device Password.
- Enter and then confirm the new password.
Make sure the passwords match and that they meet your company's requirements. - Click Reset Password.
