Download a list of users

You can download a list of all users in your organization's account, or create a list that's filtered by user attribute, such as status (active or suspended), or by organization. You can download the users list as a comma-separated value (CSV) file or export it to a spreadsheet in Google Sheets.

Download a users list

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

  2. In the Admin console, go to Menu ""and then"" Directoryand thenUsers.
  3. (Optional) To filter the Users list, do one of the following:
    • To filter by user attribute, click in Add filter above the Users list, and select an attribute.

      The cursor points to the Add a filter option at the top of the Users list.

    • To filter by organization, select an organizational unit. (You might need to click "" at the upper left to see the organizational tree.)
  4. (Optional) To include only selected columns in your downloaded list, set up the Users list with those columns.To add or remove columns, click Manage columns "".

    In a later step below, you can choose to include only these columns or all available columns in the download.

  5. At the top of the Users list, click Download users.
  6. Choose to download a filtered list or a list of all users.
  7. Choose to include only the columns displayed in the Users list or all available columns in the downloaded file.
  8. Choose to download the users list as a CSV file or export it to Google Sheets.
  9. Click Download.

    The file download is added to your Tasks list. The list opens automatically and shows the progress of the download.

  10. Once processing is complete, click the link in the task to download or open the file, depending on the option you chose.
