As a Google Workspace administrator you can restrict access to YouTube videos and channels for users at your work or school. You can also give unrestricted YouTube access to specific users. These users can then view any YouTube content when they're signed in with their work or school accounts.
Note: Google Workspace accounts in the free trial period do not have access to some features in YouTube.
Remove access restrictions for select users
Before you begin: To apply the setting for certain users: Put their accounts in an organizational unit (to set by department) or put them in a configuration group (to set for users across or within departments).

Sign in to your Google Admin console.
Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

From the Admin console Home page, go to Apps
Additional Google Services
YouTube.
- Click Permissions.
- At the left, select the organizational unit or configuration group.
- Select Unrestricted YouTube access.
- Click Save. If you configured an organizational unit or group, you might be able to Inherit or Override a parent organizational unit, or Unset a group.
