To get more business features and administrator controls, upgrade your edition of G Suite. Upgrade at any time—while still in your free trial or after paid service starts.
What to know before you upgrade

Everyone in your organization gets the same subscription. For example, you can’t transition some users to Business Plus while others keep using Business Standard edition.

If you’re on an Annual/Fixed-Term Plan, the transition includes all of your current users.
Step 1: Upgrade to G Suite Business

Sign in to your Google Admin console.
Sign in using an account with super administrator privileges (does not end in @gmail.com).

From the Admin console Home page, at the top left, click Menu

Get more services.

Scroll to G Suite Business and click Upgrade.

Review the impact this change will have on your organization
click Get started.

Select a payment plan:
- Flexible Plan—No long-term commitment, pay for the users you have each month, and add or remove users as needed.
- Annual Plan (Monthly Payment)—Requires a 1-year contract, pay monthly for users committed upfront, and add users as needed. You can increase the number of users in the users needed field.

(Optional) Under Flexible Plan, click Add promotion code and enter any promotional code you have.

Click Checkout.

Click Place Order.
If you previously purchased Drive storage or Google Vault licenses: In some cases, these licenses for Drive storage and Vault may remain assigned after you upgrade. To avoid charges for these licenses, check and remove any individual Drive and Vault licenses from users who had them before the upgrade.
(Optional) Step 2: Set up archiving with Google Vault
If you haven’t yet set up archiving with Google Vault, go to Get started: Vault administrators.
