Manage Calendar for your users

As an administrator for your organization, you can control how your team uses Google Calendar to schedule meetings, share schedules, collaborate on team calendars, and more.

As an administrator, you can...

Set sharing options

Use the Google Admin console to specify how users can share their primary calendar and events with people inside and outside of your organization. For details, go to Set Calendar sharing options.

Create and schedule resources

Create resources that users can add to their events, such as meeting rooms, projectors, company cars, or anything else that people in your organization might schedule a time to use. After you create and share a resource with your users, they can add the resources to events. For details, go to Create buildings, features & Calendar resources.

Control video conferencing for events

Control whether links to video meetings in Google Meet are automatically added to Calendar events. You can also choose which video conferencing add-ons are available to your users or make an add-on the default provider. For details, go to Control conferencing for Calendar events.

Migrate and sync your calendars

If your organization is switching to Google Workspace from another system, you can migrate your user's data. If people in your organization want to continue to use their old calendar system, there are synchronization tools to help them keep their calendar data current. For details, go to Migrate and sync your calendars.

Cancel or transfer calendar events before deleting a user

If your organization works with sensitive intellectual property or operates in a highly regulated industry, you can let users create events with client-side encrypted descriptions and attachments. For details, go to About client-side encryption.
