If you’re using a whiteboard on a Google Meet hardware device or Jamboard and want someone’s input, you can generate a code that they can use to join from a mobile app, web browser, Meet hardware device, or Jamboard device.
Step 1: Create a whiteboard code
You can create a code on a supported Meet hardware or Jamboard device. Codes cannot currently be created in a browser window or the mobile app.
- If you see a screensaver, tap the screen to start a new whiteboard.
- Tap Menu Share via Jam code.
- Select whether you want to give view or edit access to your whiteboard.
- Copy the whiteboard code and send it to other people on your team.
Step 2: Enter the code on another device
From your computer:
- In a browser, go to jamboard.google.com.
- At the top, click Join .
- Enter the code and click OK.
From a mobile device:
- Download the Jamboard app for Android or iOS.
- Open the Jamboard app.
- Tap Menu Join by Jam code.
- Enter the code and tap Submit.
From another supported Meet hardware or Jamboard device:
- If you see a screensaver, tap the screen to start a new whiteboard.
- Tap Menu Open a Jam.
- Tap Jam Code, enter the code, and tap Submit.
