You can share a whiteboard to let people view or edit it. Whoever you share a whiteboard with can find and open the file in Google Drive, a browser, or mobile app or on a supported Google Meet hardware device or Jamboard device.
You can also send a copy of your whiteboard as a PDF file or share a single jam frame as a PNG file.
Share a jam from your computer
To let people view or edit your whiteboard:
- In a browser window, join a Meet meeting or go to jamboard.google.com.
- Start or open a whiteboard.
- At the top right, click Share.
- Enter a name or email address and select whether they can view or edit the whiteboard.
- Click Done.
To share your whiteboard as a file from your computer, first download the PDF or PNG file. Then, send the file through another program.
- In a browser window, join a Meet video meeting or go to jamboard.google.com.
- Start or open a whiteboard.
- At the top, click More Download as PDF or Save frame as image.
- Open a program to share the file.
Share from a Meet hardware or Jamboard device
To let people view or edit your whiteboard:
- Start or open a whiteboard.
- Tap Menu Share this Jam.
- Enter an email address and tap Add.
To send your jam as a PDF file or a single frame as a PNG file:
- Start or open a whiteboard.
- Tap Menu Send a copy.
- Tap Send all frames in a PDF or Send this frame as an image (.png).
- Enter an email address and tap Submit.
Share a whiteboard from the mobile app
To let people view or edit your whiteboard:
- Open the Jamboard app.
- Start or open a whiteboard.
- Tap More Share.
- Enter a name or email address and select whether they can view or edit the whiteboard.
To share your whiteboard as a PDF file:
- Open the Jamboard app.
- Start or open a whiteboard.
- At the top, tap More Share Jam as PDF.
- Select how you want to send the PDF.
To share a single frame as a PNG file:
- Open the Jamboard app.
- Start or open a whiteboard.
- Navigate to the frame that you want to share.
- At the top, tap More Share this frame as an image.
- Select how you want to send the image.
