How your appointment schedule syncs with your calendar

Your appointment schedule syncs automatically with Google Calendar.
  • Your appointment schedule and booked appointments automatically appear on your calendar.
  • When you select "Check calendars for availability," Google Calendar avoids schedule conflicts.
  • If you RSVP “Yes” or “Maybe” to an event in Google Calendar, that block of time won’t appear as open on your booking page.
  • Your booking page availability automatically updates to avoid conflicts with other events.
  • If you subscribe to an eligible Google Workspace or Google One plan, your selected calendars are checked for conflicts. Learn how to avoid appointment schedule conflicts.

How appointment schedule visibility works

  • Anyone with edit permission to the calendar where an appointment schedule is created, can make changes to the schedule and see incoming bookings.
  • Anyone with your booking page link can view the times you’re available.
  • If you share your booking page, but not your calendar, others can’t view events on your calendar.
  • Under the “View Switcher” menu, you can show or hide appointment schedules. If an appointment schedule is hidden and you create a new schedule or add time to one, the hidden appointment schedules will show again.
  • On your booking pages, if you turn off “Check calendars for availability,” all appointment time blocks appear as open, with the exception of past bookings accepted via booking pages. This applies even if you've accepted a non-appointment event.
    • Important: Each appointment slot on a booking page can only be booked once even with this feature turned off.
