With Android 14, you can access Health Connect from your Android device’s settings. It stores health and fitness data on your device and shares data between different apps.
With Health Connect, you can:
- Connect and sync your favorite health and fitness apps
- Find all your data in one place
- Stay in control of your privacy
When you upgrade your Android device to Android 14, your health and fitness data and Health Connect permissions transfer from the Health Connect (Beta) app to the latest version of Health Connect integrated within the Android operating system.
Once the integration process is complete, you can uninstall Health Connect (Beta) app without affecting your service.
Update your health & fitness app
App developers may update their application to support the latest version of Health Connect. To check if an update is available for your health and fitness app:
- Open the Google Play Store app

- At the top right, tap the profile icon.
- Tap Manage apps & device. Apps with an update available are labeled "Update available."
- Tap Update.
If an app update supporting the latest version of Health Connect isn’t available in the Google Play Store, wait until the developer publishes an update or contact your developer.
