Check events for new data migration service

After you set up a migration with the new data migration service, you can review the Admin log events data to verify configuration changes and check if an event occurred. For example, you can review if a connection was created or a migration started. 

Check Admin log events data

1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

   Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

2. In the Admin console, go to Menu  ReportingAudit and investigationAdmin log events.
3. Click Add ConditionAttribute and select Event.
4. On the right, click Events and scroll to and click Migration Events.
5. Select an event and click Apply.

   For details on events, refer to the following table.

Connection created Connection deleted	Details about created or deleted connections
Connection verification requested	Details about connection verification request sent to the source account admin
Migration setup started	Details about a target admin starting a new migration
Migration map created	Details about the migration map attached to a migration
Migration settings updated	Details about changes to the migration settings
Migration started Migration stopped Migration exited	Details about started, stopped, or exited migrations
Migration report download started Migration summary report download started	Details about downloaded migration reports
