Share product issues with YouTube

If you're experiencing an issue with YouTube TV, you can share debug info with YouTube's engineering team to help us troubleshoot the issue. 

This info includes sharing details like: 

• Device (manufacturer, model and OS version)
• Video ID (link to the video being played)
• CPN (an ID that engineers use to find troubleshooting info for a specific playback session)
  • Note: Your CPN does not contain any of your personal info.
• Bandwidth info

How to give debug info

On your computer

Stats for nerds

1. Go to a video watch page.
2. Right-click on the video player, then select Stats for nerds. Stats for nerds will be displayed over the video while it's playing.
3. Take a screenshot or a clear photo of the Stats for nerds.
4. To share your screenshot or photo, get in touch with YouTube TV Support. 

Debug info

1. Go to a video watch page.
2. Right-click the player, then select Copy debug info. 
3. Get in touch with YouTube TV Support, and paste the debug info that you copied into an email or chat.  

On your mobile device

Stats for nerds 

1. Play a video, then tap More .
2. Tap the Stats pulse . Stats for nerds will be displayed on top of the video while the video is playing.
3. Take a screenshot of the Stats for nerds.
4. To share your screenshot or photo, get in touch with YouTube TV Support.

1. Play a video, then tap More .
2. Tap the Stats pulse .
3. Tap Copy debug info or select the bug . 
4. Get in touch with YouTube TV Support, and paste the debug info that you copied into an email or chat.

Stats for nerds

1. Open the YouTube TV app on your TV, and play a video.
2. Go to the player controls, then select More .
3. Select the bug . Stats for nerds will be displayed on top of the video while the video is playing.
4. Take a clear photo of the Stats for nerds and send it to YouTube TV Support via chat or email. You can also call YouTube TV Support and read out the Stats for nerds info.
