You can turn on the "Hide all scores for this team/league" feature in YouTube TV to hide scores for specific sports teams and leagues. Hiding scores will prevent spoiler info, like final scores or live previews, from appearing before you've started watching.
If you're recording a game or program, you can choose to:
- Start your program from the beginning
- Resume the program where you paused it
- Watch the currently live program
- Watch key plays (Note: check whether the stats & key plays feature is supported for the league you're watching, and on your device)
Turn on "Hide all scores for this team/league"
- Open YouTube TV.
- Select More
on a team or league page.
- Turn on "Hide all scores for this team/league."
Things to note:
- When you turn on this feature, it will turn on across all of your devices.
- Large leagues like NBA, NFL, and MLB have pages for individual teams. For these leagues, you can hide sports scores team by team.
- Some leagues don’t have pages for individual teams. If your team doesn’t have an individual page, you can hide scores at the league level.
Turn on "Show all sports scores"
- Open YouTube TV.
- Select More
on a team or league page.
- Turn on "Show all sports scores for this team/league."
How this feature works
If you've turned on "Hide all scores for this team/league," sports scores will be obscured on the Schedule tab of team or league pages. Live video previews will also be turned off for related games. You'll see a notification explaining why the live preview is turned off.
