TV measurement on YouTube TV

Many of our partners, such as advertisers and content owners, are interested in understanding how their content is performing on YouTube TV.

To give them this info, YouTube is partnering with Nielsen to measure content performance. Nielsen TV market research measures your viewing behavior.  

Follow these directions to opt out or check your opt-out status, per Nielsen's website and policies: 

You can limit ad tracking within your iPhone and iPad's settings page. To do this, tap Settings and then Privacy and then Advertising and toggle on "Limit Ad Tracking."

Once you've opted out, your viewer demographic data will no longer be included in Nielsen TV measurement. We may regularly communicate with Nielsen to confirm member opt-out status.
