Disney channel availability on YouTube TV

As of October 30, 2025, our agreement with Disney has expired, and their content is not currently available on YouTube TV. Each time we renew our contracts with network partners, we advocate for fair pricing and greater flexibility to offer our subscribers the best possible live TV experience. Our current agreement with Disney has approached its renewal date, and we will not agree to terms that disadvantage our members while benefiting Disney’s own live TV products.

It’s our goal to restore Disney content to YouTube TV, but if we can't reach an agreement and their content is unavailable for an extended period of time, we’ll offer our subscribers a $20 credit. If this happens, you'll receive an email with more information. You can continue to watch Disney’s sports programming by signing up for ESPN directly.

How to get your credit

We're offering YouTube TV subscribers a $20 credit on your next bill while Disney-owned content remains unavailable on YouTube TV.

• If you pay for YouTube TV through us directly: You can redeem your credit by following the steps below.
• If you're billed through Google Play or another provider: The $20 credit will be applied to your account automatically. You can confirm how you’re billed by going to the Billing tab.

Note: You must have an active YouTube TV Base subscription to be eligible for this credit. Credits can only be claimed through a web browser. This feature is not available in the YouTube TV app. For family accounts, only the family manager can claim the credit. 

Steps to redeem your credit

Step 1: Go to tv.youtube.com on your web browser and sign in.

Step 2: Select your profile picture .

Step 3: Select Settings .

Step 4: In the left menu, select Updates.

Step 5: Select Claim credit.

Once you’ve claimed your credit, you’ll see a message confirming that the credit will be applied towards your next bill.

When will Disney content return to YouTube TV?

We know how disruptive it is to lose channels you enjoy, which is why it’s our goal to bring Disney content back to YouTube TV. We’ll continue to negotiate with Disney in the hopes of achieving resolution, but we can’t speculate at this point about when that may happen or if their content will be restored on the platform.

What happens to recordings of Disney content in my library?

Recordings of Disney content will be removed. If we’re able to reach an agreement with Disney and bring their content back to YouTube TV, subscribers will regain access to recordings that were previously in their library.

Can I still watch Disney content in 4K?

No, all Disney content on YouTube TV, including content in the 4K Plus add-on is not available.

Can I still watch Spanish Plus Content?

No, all Disney content on YouTube TV, including Spanish Plus content including ESPN Deportes, Baby TV Español, and Nat Geo Mundo is not available.

I am on pause, how does this credit impact me?

You must have an active YouTube TV Base subscription to be eligible to receive the $20 credit.
