How can I edit album info (cover image, album artist, album, year, etc) on YouTube Music?

Hi!

How can I edit album info (cover image, album artist, album, year, etc) on YouTube Music (the same way how I do this with my music on Google Play)?

Hi Tetiana,

While YouTube Music doesn’t currently support the ability to edit metadata directly in the app, you can always edit your metadata on your computer before uploading (or on Google Play Music before transferring) it to YouTube Music. Hope this helps!

Dear YTM / Google Employee,

I did exactly what you suggested, (added album cover on my PC) however, YTM would not / could not upload the album art image - so as a result I have an album uploaded with no Album Cover...Please Explain!

Thanks for trying to provide a 'work around' - but at least provide solutions that actually work!

This feature needs to be made available just as it was in Google Play. It is bad enough that YT Music has made it extremely difficult to use and search among your personal collection. This adds insult to injury.

This is so frustrating. I can no longer upload album art or add it after doing the music upload. This is a big downgrade from Google Play Music. I was hoping for a better experience. Come on You Tube, this must be an easy fix....otherwise I foresee many people switching to another music player.

I would like to know why YT Music did not have all of the same features and run as smoothly as Google Play Music before it was sent in as a replacement. I have been a loyal Google customer for a decade, but this nonsense is killing me. I can not even buy music on here anymore. Stop pushing us to Apple.
