I have a YouTube Brand Account – can I transfer my data from Google Play Music to YouTube Music? 0 Recommended Answers 1 Reply 0 Upvotes

Google Play Music accounts cannot be transferred to YouTube Brand Accounts – this means that if you’re using a YouTube Brand account, you’ll be asked to switch to a personal Google account in order to start the transfer process.

If you’re currently using a brand account and do not want to create a personal account, you have the option to download all of your GPM content (either directly to your Google Drive or your own private drive) so you can still access your content after GPM is no longer available.

So I effectively lose all my GPM songs and playlists later this year, since I never ever want to use a YouTube account with my real name? Fantastic! :-D
