If you are receiving error messages or are having playback issues in YouTube Music, please try the following steps to resolve the issue:

  • Refresh the app
  • Please check you have a strong data or Wi-Fi connection
  • If you are on data, switch to Wi-Fi (or vice versa) to confirm if the issue is specific to one connection. You can also try toggling Wi-Fi off or on
  • Quit and relaunch the app
  • Check for system updates in your device's Settings
  • Uninstall and reinstall the app
  • Clear cache and data of app
  • Restart the device

None of these things help YouTube work on any form of electronic device.  I have searched through Google's site over the last couple months, only to be given the same/similar answers that do not work.  Even trying to watch/listen to YouTube on another browser or using other wi-fi connections does not work.

Google seems to just not give a shit about fixing the issues with YouTube or any of it's affiliates. We are a fly buzzing around their ear, Nothing more

I'm getting same issue here. Or the album artwork is in bad resolution or simply doesn't exist, it's a black image for me. I tried everything, from restarting app to reinstall it. But nothing works, thinking in return to my old streaming service.
