View & share your Artist Recap

Use your Artist Recap to celebrate milestones from throughout the year, and learn how fans engage with your music on YouTube. We’ve updated Artist Recaps with new Top Music Video slides and enhanced sharing capabilities including “Create a Short” feature to share with your listeners.

Find your Artist Recap

You can find your Artist Recap in the YouTube Studio mobile app. To view your Recap:

  1. Open the YouTube Studio mobile app.
  2. Tap the Analytics tab.
  3. Tap the Recap card below your Analytics Overview.

Get insights from your Recap:

Your Artist Recap includes several music-focused insights from the year:

  • Total watch time & total views: These numbers represent all views of your content across all YouTube formats, including YouTube Music & YouTube Shorts.
  • Your best day & month: Based on Unique Viewers.
  • Your biggest song: Based on 2025 year-to-date views.
  • Number of UGC Shorts: Based on creations & views using your music.
  • Top countries or regions: Where your music was most popular.
  • Biggest new release performance.
  • Your top Music Videos.

The data in your Recap spans January 1, 2025, to November 15, 2025. Data from after November 15 won’t be captured in your Recap. Your 2025 Recap is available until January 31st, 2026.

To report an issue with your Recap, follow these instructions.

Share your Artist Recap with your fans

You can share data cards from your Recap directly to social media, giving fans a link back to your YouTube Music artist page.

To share a data card from your Recap:

  1. Open the Recap card.
  2. Tap Share below the card.
  3. Choose one of the sharing options:
    • Save as image: Save the card to your device, then upload it to social media.
    • Create a Short: Make a personalized video message using your Artist Recap stats as a virtual background via the Green Screen flow.
  4. To save the image to your device, select Save.
Note: When you share your Recap on Instagram or Facebook Stories, we’ll provide a link under your username that sends fans directly to your YouTube Music artist page. You may need to update your device's operating system settings to allow access to your files in order to save or share your Recap.

Manage team access to your Recap

Team members can access your Artist Recap if you are using the channel permissions model. If your channel is a Brand Account & you haven’t moved to permissions, other team members won't be able to find your Recap.

The "Create a Short" feature is only available to channel users with Owner, Manager, or Editor roles. Users with the Viewer permission can see the Recap stories but won't see the Create a Short button.
