YouTube Kids with Google Home Devices

You can use Google Home devices to watch videos from YouTube Kids.

YouTube Kids on Google Home is currently only available in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada.

Make sure you have the latest Google Assistant App and Google Home App installed on your phone or tablet to see the YouTube Kids option.

You'll need a Smart Display or a Google Home device linked to a TV with Chromecast in order to watch content from YouTube Kids. There is no audio-only option. Learn more about setting up your Home device.

Note: The following YouTube Kids features aren’t supported on Google Home devices, unless your child’s Google Account is managed with Family Link: turning Search on or off, clearing and pausing Search and Watch history, previously blocked videos and channels, and the older content level setting.

Also, reporting videos is not supported on Google Home devices. Our systems try to exclude content not suitable for kids, but since we can’t manually review all content and no automated system is perfect, we may miss some videos. If you find a video that isn’t appropriate for kids, please report it for fast review by opening the YouTube Kids app on your phone or tablet and searching for the video in question.
