How do I download audio, music, or MP3 files from YouTube Go?
You can’t download audio or MP3 files, but you can download certain music videos by following the steps to download a video.
How do I download videos to watch offline on YouTube Go?
- Go to the video you’d like to download.
- Tap on the video to get the video preview dialog.
- If the content owner has made downloading available, select the video quality you'd like and tap Download to start the downloading process.
Note: YouTube Go will store downloaded videos as .yt files, and these videos will only be playable in YouTube apps.
How do I share videos on YouTube Go?
You can send .yt files to friends and family using your preferred messaging or peer-to-peer sharing apps. The person you're sending to can play these files with the YouTube Go App.
