The YouTube Help Community does not review applications to the YouTube Partners Program and posting here will not help your channel get reviewed faster.

I feel like people post here because there is no clear communication from the Partners program nor is there any way to get questions answered specifically for individual channels. Which is why something NEEDS to change.

If we get 1 email saying our channel is being reviewed and it would take less than a month, but 6 months later our channels are still being "reviewed" thats some B.S. Just say "Your channel is still being reviewed" in a update email or just flat out say, "your channel wasnt approved, here is what needs to change to keep up with the ever-changing guidelines"

Being in Limbo and then punishing the people for going to Youtube HELP to get help, is counter-intuitive.

I have a question for everyone:

OK:  What are we doing here if Teamyoutube is NOT going to help us, or give us useful, up to date information regarding the process?  Youtube already does not take seriously our requests for help, our concerns about Copyright Problems, Appeals, channel strikes, Guidelines Strikes, etc - I am VERY serious when I ask -  WHAT the HELL are we supposed to do to get a teamyoutube response??  a REAL person, with a  REAL mind, that will ACKNOWLEDGE that this process is TOO LONG and TOO complicated, and  is leaving creators to their own devices?  SCRAP this long process, and find a way to make it FASTER and FAIR to ALL - This is NOT Fair or RIGHT!

@Camilla:  PLEASE give us an UPDATE to this situation, and PLEASE don't post  "The YouTube Help Community does not review applications to the YouTube Partners Program and posting here will not help your channel get reviewed faster."   

WHY:  BECAUSE we ALREADY KNOW that the process has taken at LEAST 1.5 YEARS to complete.  We KNOW that posting here does NOTHING to speed up the process - This means that You have told us NOTHING, but again, have slapped down everyone!  How is posting this a "HELP" to the supposed "community"?  Something that would HELP us is to have someone actually give us INFORMATION about how the process is proceeding.

WE ALSO KNOW THAT Teamyoutube does NOT post in support of anything other then when THOUSANDS of us complain about something.  We know that teamyoutube REACTS to situations sometimes TOO HARSHLY, and that they are supposedly not supposed to respond to us in this forum, which defeats the purpose of the Communication piece - why even respond to teamyoutube?  They don't think we are right - or at least that is what it feels like.

@teamyoutube:  your responses to tweets are equally as harsh and BLEAK and useless.  All we want is an update to the current situation.  How bout you respond with something that gives us something to believe in:  Oh, thats right: teamyoutube can't get into specifics, but they make the rules that are "specific"

@everyone involved:

I agree with everything that has been said:  I say this community is a good one, but is USELESS unless a member of Teamyoutube is REQUIRED to post, communicate with us, and keep us UPDATED!  It is NOT fair that you CANNOT get an answer to a specific question or question(s), and in my opinion, this Monetization Process is RIGGED, meaning that it would take 6 YEARS to do what they want to do, things are moving TOO damn slow, the "reveiw team" is a JOKE:  They don't disclose anything, and take your channel down without recourse, or second chance.

Then, they INSULT us by saying that posting here asking questions will NOT help you, and that if you keep posting things like this, you can get in TROUBLE:  WHY THE HELL cant someone actually post, you know, an UPDATE to the process:  We are all VOLUNTEERS here, but we are NOT being helpful to anyone if stupid youtube team members post shit like this.  This makes me want to write a letter of complaint, because they WONT disclose things, they have everyone by the balls, and they have NO communication!!!

Looks Like posting here is USELESS now, as teamyoutube has everyone by the balls - what can we do to change this??  Cant they at LEAST give us a timeframe??  They might as well send Camilla to for a vacation, as the information she just posted has NO RELEVANCE, and will STILL RESULT in posts that STILL ask:

"I am sorry, I want to ask about MONETIZATION"  This is RAMPANT, and yet, @teamyoutube (via twitter) is just saying that they have "released some decisions, and we are on-track to release more soon"

This DOES NOT GIVE ANYONE an answer to anything, and I don't know why she could NOT have just given an update - @teamyoutube isnt a TEAM:  They write the same answers to a TWEET that they would for an email appeal, and its worthless ;(

@teamyoutube:  Try Giving us an ANSWER PLEASE!!!

I would appreciate it if someone could make NOISE to these @teamyoutube members who blatently post stuff like this, and then NEVER respond again.  It is bad ENOUGH that we have to ask for help on youtube because we don't understand what is going on, or why it is going on:  I just want to be sure that an "expert" does NOT lock this thread, or DELETE my responses, as this shows that they do NOT wish for MY opinion to be heard, probably because they think it is SPAM, and it is NOT.

Listen guys and Gals:  Its simple:  If I am REQUIRED to read, understand and FOLLOW all of Youtube's Rules and Regulations, Guidelines, Terms of Use, etc, then the LEAST these teamyoutube people could do would be to RESPOND, give us an answer to OUR specific question, as it feels like we are being IGNORED, DISRESPECTED, and USED for their amusement:  we CANT defend against youtube:  they wont help us, but they will spend 3 friggin YEARS telling us:

"Thanks for reaching out. YPP applications are reviewed manually and this does take time. Our team is working hard by putting in extra efforts & resources to come to a conclusion about your application. Appreciate your continued patience with us."

and this happens OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER:  why do people even TRY to ask for help, if they (@teamyoutube) cant say "Your channel is expected to be reviewed by <DATE>, and if NOT, please tweet us again"

THIS is THE COMMUNITY Mr. Parker:  This is the way that we are supposed to KNOW things?  why cant an expert go to teamyoutube and GET an answer?  Teamyoutube is NOT the "review team" and they do NOT give 2 milkshakes about our concerns relating to appeals that go DENIED in LESS then 30 seconds - There is NO REAL "appeal system!"  Does ANYONE GET THIS?  You might as well just 'rm -r' the entire platform, because NOTHING will change UNLESS they get SWATTED and something REALLY REALLY BAD happened, and then you'd see teamyoutube "reacting" to something, but NOT getting any answers for us:  Monetization is a privlige, but is ONLY given to those who can survive 3-5 years of HELL! 

as far as Team Youtube:  They would get 2 Community Guidelines Strikes from ME:  One, for NOT posting an UPDATE to the "Monetization HELL" and One for having an Apathetic/nonresponding FOOL that repeats the same thing over and over, and for NOT following their own guidelines.  Susan W would get One for FAILING to help us to get through this hell - why cant we have someone ON THIS community FORUM that is a part of teamyoutube, who CAN answer our questions??

Damn it, this is a TEAM??

......and they wonder WHY they keep getting #fireteamyoutube links in TWEETS:  You can blame this on the failure of a ONE WAY comm system, where teamyoutube is making it impossible to get any answers or help :(  Disgusting :(

I'm looking for help with the new s10+ I bought came with the promotion for you tube premium free for a year I accepted the code and confirmed I would use my sprint account as payment after the year and it still put me on a monthly payment so in canceled it thinking I had done it wrong and now I cant get any of it to work... please I would appreciate any help since I can not find a support number or anything for YouTube

@Buddy Baker, don't expect TeamYouTube to respond.
Its like talking to a brick wall exspecting a response but you don't get any.
TeamYouTube, only communicates with there own kind as well as community specialist and Gold Product Experts.
Atleast, some Gold Product Experts can escalate this to TeamYouTube.

Its ridiculous how a random company or channel can file a copyright claim on your video or live stream and you cant do anything about it until you dispute it. YouTube really needs better security for this!
