Page refreshing during Casting

Tried reloading Chromium pkg. on linux and cleared cookies. 
 81.0.4044.122 (Official Build) Built on Ubuntu , running on Zorin 12 (32-bit)
 page continually reloads and really affects resources.
Cast still works fine just the page reloading unable to read comments or post comment.

I've got the same issue and just seems to started happening within the last couple of days. And the odd time I was getting a prompt on my main tv that Chromecast was already at max volume. So that was new. Is this something too do with Google Chrome update and YouTube conflicting with that update for casting?

Yes, same thing happening with me. I'm on a mac, using a Chrome browser, casting to a SONY TV. The cast is working fine, but the  YouTube page keeps refreshing (and, of course, reloading new video recommendations on the right-hand side of the screen after each refresh - which is annoying if you're trying to watch/follow a channel's recommended series.) 

I am currently restarting my Chromecast, so hoping that will work, but not sure it will. I'll provide updates when available.

This has been happening to me for about 5 days. I sent a complaint to Google a couple days ago but they said it's probably something wrong on the YouTube end of things. I sent a complaint to YouTube but haven't heard back. I am sure they will blame it on Chrome.

Chromebook constantly refreshing youtube page whilst casting. I tend to sit with the chromebook on my lap, casting content to a 55inch TV about 7 feet away. The screen flicker as the refresh happens is really distracting me from the content I'm viewing on the main TV. 

Please, please, PLEASE sort this out. It not a good experience at all to have to turn my chromebook screen away from me to stop the distractions. Not to mention the inability to read and make comments while the videos are playing.

disabling google meet in gmail fixed the issue so far.
