I want to open a new youtube channel and I already have an existing youtube channel which is monetized. So when I open a new channel I will have to link it to my existing adsense account, so will the channel be monetized without completing 1000 subs and 4000 hours ? (since the adsense is already active)
2nd question: if in future one of the channels get demonetized than will the other channel also get demonetized as both are linked to one adsense account.
How will opening two youtube channels affect my adsense account

Hi Wrestling Lounge: your new channel needs to meet the YouTube Partner Program eligibility requirements. So you won't be able to monetize until after it has 1000 subscribers, 4000 hours watch time in the past year, and passes review.

Once the new channel is eligible, you can link your existing AdSense account to it (you must do that, because you are only allowed one AdSense account).

It is the case that if you have monetization disabled on one of your channels, YouTube may disable monetization on all of your channels.
