Not Getting Views As Usual

Dear YouTube Team,

I am not getting views as I used to get. I used to upload 1-2 shorts everyday but now I am not getting any views and am trying more hard for my videos and I get at least 3,000-20,000 views and 20-50+ subscribers for each short and recently i am not getting no views I am get 2-30 views. Like I used to get 300-500 views in 15 minutes for each short I uploaded now I am getting low views and I don't do anything illegal or bots or anything I just uploaded videos and shorts daily and I use Vidiq is that the reason why I am not getting views should I delete that. I put so much effort into this channel and it paid off, I gained 670 subscribers in 2 or 3 months and after that I started to put more effort in videos and when I saw the results I wasn't happy.

Can you please help me figure out what's going on and how I can fix it?

Thanks,
SiDestroyer

Possible Reasons for the Decline
  1. Algorithm Shift:
    • YouTube constantly updates its algorithms, and a change could be impacting your content's reach.
    • Shorts, in particular, rely on appearing in the Shorts feed, and your content might not be getting prioritized due to algorithm changes.
  2. Audience Fatigue:
    • Posting similar types of content too frequently can sometimes lead to audience disengagement.
    • If your Shorts are repetitive in style or content, your audience might lose interest.
  3. Competition:
    • The Shorts format is highly competitive, with millions of creators uploading similar content daily. New competitors might be taking viewer attention.
  4. Quality vs. Quantity:
    • While uploading frequently is good, YouTube's algorithm favors engagement metrics like watch time, likes, comments, and shares. If recent content has lower engagement, it could affect overall visibility.
  5. Content Relevance:
    • Shorts thrive on trends. If your content isn’t aligning with current trends, it may struggle to attract views.
  6. VidIQ and Tools:
    • Tools like VidIQ do not inherently harm your channel. However, over-relying on automated keyword suggestions or strategies without adapting to your niche or audience can sometimes reduce authenticity.
  7. Shorts Distribution Delay:
    • Sometimes, Shorts experience delays in reaching their peak views. This could mean your videos will pick up traction later.
Steps to Diagnose and Fix the Issue
  1. Analyze Analytics:
    • Go to YouTube Studio > Analytics and review:
      • Traffic sources: Check if your views from the Shorts feed have declined.
      • Audience retention: Are viewers watching your videos to completion?
      • Engagement: Are likes, comments, or shares decreasing?
  2. Focus on Trends:
    • Use tools like Google Trends, VidIQ, or TubeBuddy to identify trending topics in your niche.
    • Jump on trends quickly, but add your unique spin to differentiate your content.
  3. Enhance Quality:
    • Focus on creating highly engaging, well-edited content with attention-grabbing hooks in the first 2 seconds.
    • Experiment with different video lengths, formats, and topics to see what resonates.
  4. Optimize Titles, Descriptions, and Tags:
    • Ensure your titles are concise, engaging, and keyword-rich.
    • Use descriptive text that complements your video's theme and attracts viewers.
  5. Engage with Your Audience:
    • Respond to comments on your videos to boost engagement.
    • Use polls and community posts to interact with subscribers and understand what they want to see.
  6. Post Consistently but Strategically:
    • Try posting 1 high-quality Short daily instead of 2.
    • Monitor performance and adjust based on what works.
  7. Promote on Other Platforms:
    • Share your Shorts on social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, or Twitter to drive traffic back to YouTube.
  8. Experiment and Monitor:
    • Test different styles, themes, and tones in your Shorts. Monitor how each performs and adjust your content strategy accordingly.
