I am pretty sure I have correctly created a brand account for our company, however, when I try to add people (even at an Owner level) and they have accepted my invitation, they can't access the channel (it either asks them to create a channel or subscribe to the channel that I have created (see attached screenshot from one colleague). 

I have read the respective articles about checking whether the account has been set up as a brand account, as well as what message to look for, but I'm still stuck. Could anyone help me, please?

Is the Brand Accounts details page ( screenshot ) also taken  on your colleagues side ?
If yes , and they open the " manage permissions "  , can you add screenshot ?

The Brand Account details page screenshot was taken on my side. The first screenshot (where the user can only subscribe to the channel) was taken on my side.

If both screenshots were taken on your side  ( as owner of the channel , and being the one that invited other user(s) )  , then all seems to be normal on YOUR side , as far as i can tell by the screenshots .
Question is , what does the other user see , when they go to THEIR  Brand Account page  ?

If they get the message " create a channel " when signing in  , then usually , they are not signed in with the account that has been invited .
But to check that on my side , i would need a screenshot of  the manage permissions page from your side ( to actually see WHO you invited ) AND a screenshot of what account THEY are using  , showing that " create channel  " message .

Apologies for the confusion. 

So the first screenshot of the brand account view is from a user I invited. That is her view after accepting the invitation and clicking on the link I provide her with to get to the brand channel. From her view, despite accepting the invite to manage the brand channel as an owner, she isn't able to edit the cover art, for example.

The second screenshot, with the user permissions, is my view. I have no trouble anywhere.

I have attached a screenshot of my colleague's access level.
