We’re excited to announce your new home for live streaming on YouTube – the Live Control Room in YouTube Studio (beta). You can now create, manage, and monitor your streams in one place.
Our new Live Control Room combines our live streaming tools into a single destination, designed for live creators. With a brand-new look and feel, you’ll focus less on the details and spend more time interacting with your fans.
How it works:
Quickly access the Live Control Room from anywhere on YouTube–click the creation icon and select “Go Live.” If you’re using streaming software, make sure to select the Stream tab.
- Designed for streaming: a streamlined, dark mode interface designed to reduce glare while streaming.
- Copy & Create: quickly go live by using a completed stream as a template, copying all metadata, game title, and your stream key–great if you stream multiple games or with multiple setups.
- New actionable dashboard: get real-time and actionable insights to manage your stream and interact with your fans.
If you’d like to continue using the old streaming tools, click the “Classic Live Streaming” button in the lower right corner for access.
We encourage you to try the new Live Control Room and send us your feedback. We can’t wait to build new and exciting features for live creators, stay tuned for more!
