New Brand Account with YouTube Channel Not Synced with Google My Business 1 Recommended Answer 4 Replies 8 Upvotes
I work for a marketing agency and have learned how to navigate the ever-changing landscape of adding managers to various platforms on Google. Now it seems the only way to add managers to a YouTube channel is to connect it with a Brand account. So I setup a Brand account and moved my YouTube channel to that, however, my Google My Business listing is not syncing with the Brand account. Normally, when you go to your Brand Account details, there are all the icons of the Google platforms used by the Brand and there is a little storefront icon for the GMB listing: https://www.screencast.com/t/L3zDmdY4pm. It always just automatically added if it was owned by the same email address. But there is no icon, and therefore no syncing of the platforms. I have to add managers to each of the separate platforms. I cannot find any way to connect GMB with YouTube Brand account, and GMB support turned me here for help... Any advice?
This is not a new GMB listing or YouTube channel, just a new Brand account.
