A: Are you told that your email is NOT "associated with an active Google Account" when appealing?

Have you had your YouTube channel terminated and are struggling to appeal a YouTube channel termination, because you're told that your Google Account's email address username isn't actually associated with an active Google Account although it is?  If so-  read on:

The message a lot of users are seeing when sending in appeals for YouTube channel termination is this:
"Hello Google user,

Thank you for reaching out about being unable to access your Google Account. The email address you inquired about is not associated with an active Google Account.

If this email address was previously associated with a Google Account it has been deleted and cannot be recovered. Unfortunately we can only restore access to a deleted Google Account if the request is made within a relatively short period of time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
This, seemingly, makes it impossible to have the appeal be reviewed and is very frustrating.

AS OF 23RD FEBRUARY 2022 THIS IS RESOLVED.

And if you receive a negative response to your appeal (ie that you are to remain suspended), then that is probably because the termination is not in error, and not because of this (now resolved) glitch.

I have been advised that the "Not Associated With An Active Google Account" issue has now been fixed.  Please can you post back ONLY if you still get this issue when trying AFTER reading this post.  Thank you.

1. My YouTube url: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5AVX9YjPeSdAfBZkRO1a_Q
2. The gmail is still in use and I am able to login to it fine but the appeal form is not working and says the gmail is not active.
3. It is a gmail account.

EDIT: I just kept submitting the form and eventually it went through and was successful. I got my account back.

@Neeraj Bhardwaj 6449-  this is a user community and this thread was about the inability to send in an appeal in the first place, not about the possibility that YouTube reviewers deny an appeal.

Thanks for the useful information

Meaning ^ that if you receive a negative response to your appeal (ie that you are to remain suspended), then that is probably because the termination is not in error.  As in-  the appeal rejection is not because of this (now resolved) glitch as, obviously, not every appeal will be successful if the appellant really did violate the ToS etc.

Unfortunately since a have a registered domain name.  This is the new response that I get from the appeal.  They are asking me (the Administrator) to reestablish the account.  But the mail account is still active, just the YouTube channel that has been deleted and I cannot recover that by myself.

Please help.

Hello,
If you are not an administrator, please contact your Google Workspace Administrator to reestablish access to your account.
If you are an administrator, please contact another administrator for your domain, the Google Workspace Support Team, or your Google Workspace Partner to have your account access reestablished.
Best,
The Google Accounts Team
@Victor Tung-  you will need to do as advised as Google Workspace user accounts function differently from personal Google Account.  It certainly reads like it is unrelated to the inability to make an appeal as per this OP.

@The Lady from UNCLE when I first got the email of the channel deletion, I followed the appeal button process and got the message "The email address you inquired about is not associated with an active Google Account."  After following this thread and with your help, they fixed something and I tried to appeal again.  This time from the same appeal link, I get a new message that is asking me the domain administrator to enable the account.  The account is already enabled.  Just the YouTube channel is deleted and I cannot recover that.

Initial response to appeal:
Current response to appeal:
If you are an administrator, please contact another administrator for your domain, the Google Workspace Support Team,
The issue that this thread was about (the strange suggestion that the email used on the appeal didn't belong to an active Google Account) has been resolved as of the 23rd of February 2022.

Other issues regarding appeals is not covered by this thread and cannot, therefore, be addressed here.
