Has anyone successfully elevated an extended refund request for YouTube TV?

0 Recommended Answers 0 Replies 0 Upvotes My Google account was subscribed to YouTube TV for about 15 months, but I neither know about nor intended to use this service. When I discovered this oversight and sought a full refund, customer service repeatedly pointed to an internal policy limitation: YouTube TV is only "able," they said, to issue refunds for the last 120 days of service. Service specialists are trained to say that this is a technical issue with their system, and that the system will only allow them to provide 4 months of refunds. This is a problem because anyone who is slow discover a subscription issue--as I was amidst the chaos of 2020--is dismissed as falling outside of their technical capabilities. Given the global reach and digital savvy of YouTube's parent company, I find this a bit ironic and extremely frustrating. Please let me know if anyone has advice about elevating an extended refund claim. The chat boxes and phone centers are too inflexible to deal with cases that involve extended refund claims.
