"Your video settings could not be saved: Unknown error" – what does this mean?

In my video's "Claiming Options" tab, I'm trying to change the Ad Formats settings. My videos have been earning significantly less than normal recently, and none of the Ad Formats options are checked, so that may be why.

When I check all the options (see attached screenshot) then click "Save" I get the error:

Your video settings could not be saved: Unknown error

Any thoughts?

thanks,
Paul

I see you are in CMS.  Is this your CMS or are you part of a Network.  If you are part of a Network you need to contact your Network admin to solve this issue.

If I were to take a guess, it may be due to your video description being to long and not anything to do with your ad settings.

Yup, im uploading a video, when i check the box for monetizing it will give the error.

I already tried to go to my monetized videos, UNCHECK that monetizing box, save, then check again to monetize, also get the error.. So this is a major bug that youtube has to fix NOW
