YouTube App Black Screen on Samsung UN55KS8000F

Hi,

I have the YouTube app installed on my Samsung Smart TV and it worked fine for a while, but yesterday I tried to stream on it and all I got was a black screen ever since.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, cold loading the TV, resetting my router.

Please advise!

I ran into the same problem this morning. KS9000, just bought it last week. YouTube was working fine for a week, now I get hung up on a black screen, although it works fine on a computer. HBO and Amazon apps are working fine on the TV. I wonder if it is a similar problem to /youtube/forum/AAAAiuErobU-iA8Ln1NlIc , which was a problem with the youtube server, not the tv.

I was able to fix my problem by rebooting the tv. For my model, that meant holding the power button on the remote instead of a quick press.

Hold back button on your remote and it will "crash" your YouTube on your black screen. Then turn off your TV and wait 3-5 minutes. Turn it on, hf c:

Same here. And it's actually worse agree resetting the hub completely. KS8000. Ridiculous. Have tried everything. Get your shit together Google and Samsung!!!!

I've got the same model, I did what "dsdale24", go into the YouTube app, and if had the black screen, hold the power button on the remote until the tv turns off and on by itself.

If that doesn't work, just hold down the back button and it will restart its application on youtube. Wait til you see its black, then re-open youtube til you see the youtube screen pop up.
