Uploaded video has been corrupted

Not only are frames missing and the intro corrupted, but the video (uploaded at 852x480) won't go above 360p?

Previous videos have been fine and nothing has been changed since the last.

Checked the source video, everything is perfectly fine, there was nothing wrong during upload either.

I'm led to believe that YouTube hasn't processed the video properly because it normally takes awhile, but this time it literally seemed to ignore the process.

Is there anything that can be done without reuploading? Thank you.

Happened with a second video, going to try re-uploading it through Opera.

Tried from a different browser, no difference. Tried a different format (normally use WMV, used MP4 to test), fixed the corrupting problem but was uploaded at 360p still.

given that 480p is now available on your corrupted upload, try MP4 + wait a day or two?

I forgot to mention, there's a general quality deterioration on all videos uploaded, including the one that's now available in 480p

@Alonzorion – The glitches in your video are symptomatic of transmission errors during uploading.  YouTube's standard uploader is not very robust in how it handles transmission errors and when used with certain network topologies file corruption can occur.  This file corruption typically manifests itself as pixelation artifacts, pixel-smearing, video truncation, failure to process/convert video and other errors.

To address the problem a special HTTPS/SSL Uploader was created (you can read about it's genesis in this thread).  Using the HTTPS/SSL Uploader instead of the standard uploader should eliminate your problems but it may increase the time it takes to upload a file.

    HTTPS/
SSL Uploader** ––>  https://upload.youtube.com/my_videos_upload

looks the same as the standard uploader but functions differently

You may also be able to eliminate the problem by changing your current network topology.  Switching from a wireless connection to a hardwired connection has been known to solve the problem for some users.  You can read about other users' experiences with this problem in this thread.

Worked for me just as you said! Thanks for the help, it's a great relief to get rid of this madness. My videos were 720p WMV as well.
