Art Tracks of pre-released music

These features are only available to partners who use YouTube Studio Content Manager. Contact your YouTube Partner Manager to get access.

If you deliver an Art Track with a Start Date in the future, it will be created as a Private video. That means that information it contains (including track metadata) will only be accessible to the video owner. The Art Track will then become Public on the earliest Start Date provided.

Note: You cannot set a pre-released Art Track from Private to Unlisted.

To examine an Art Track of pre-released music in Content Manager:

  1. Navigate to Assets under “Content ID.”
  2. Search for the release UPC and click on the Art Track.
  3. Click Active Claims on the top right.
  4. In the screen that opens up you’ll see the Video ID, and if you click on it, you can play the Art Track.
