You can buy and pay for your YouTube Premium membership through some mobile phone providers who have partnered with us to offer YouTube Premium to their members. You will receive all of the same YouTube Premium benefits as purchasing directly from YouTube.

At this time, only individual memberships for YouTube Premium can be purchased through these companies. If you want to purchase a family plan, you will need to sign up directly with YouTube.

Billing: If you're billed through au by KDDI, YouTube Premium will show up as an expense on your monthly mobile phone bill.
Cancelling or pausing a membership: You can't pause your YouTube Premium membership if you're billed through au by KDDI. To cancel your membership, contact au by KDDI – their own cancellation and refund policies will apply.
Changing paid memberships: It is not possible to change from a YouTube Premium membership to a YouTube Music Premium membership through au by KDDI. YouTube Premium memberships include access to YouTube Music Premium at no additional cost.
To change your paid membership to YouTube Music Premium:
- Contact au by KDDI to cancel your current membership.
- Wait until your paid membership ends (you will lose access to your membership benefits at the end of your billing cycle).
- Sign up for a YouTube Music Premium membership directly through YouTube.
TIM
