Manage your payment methods

To change or delete a payment method, follow the instructions below. You can also add a backup form of payment to ensure your membership stays active, even if your primary payment method can’t be charged.

Change your default payment method

  1. Tap your profile photo and then Paid memberships.
  2. Tap on your membership.
  3. Tap Edit next to your existing payment method.
  4. Tap the down arrow Minimize next to your payment method.
  5. Select your other payment method or Add credit or debit card.
  6. Enter your card number (if applicable).
  7. Tap Submit.

Delete a payment method

To delete a form of payment, visit Google Pay and click Remove for the payment method you’d like to delete.

Add a backup payment method

  1. Tap your profile photo and then Paid memberships.
  2. Tap on your membership.
  3. Tap Edit next to "Backup payment method".
  4. Enter your card number.
  5. Tap Submit.
