  3. Click Change.
  4. You’ll need to enter your password and re-authenticate
    1. To re-authenticate, do one of the following:
      1. Use a security key (if a security key is linked to the account).
      2. Get a prompt sent to your phone (if you have gmail or google maps installed in your iOS, or if you have logged in your Android).
      3. Sign in using a backup code (if you can’t verify using your secondary credentials).
      4. Verify your account via SMS if there’s a recovery phone number.
    2. If you see an error message with “Action Blocked,” you need to have a phone and follow the steps below:
      1. For Android users, stay signed into the Google account for several days
      2. For iOS users, install either the Gmail or Google Search app and stay signed in to one of those apps for several days.
      3. For non-Android, non-iOS users, add a recovery phone number to your Google account and wait for several days.
  5. From the list of Google Accounts, choose the one that owns the AdSense account you want to link to your YouTube channel.
  6. The account you've chosen will be at the top of the screen and your YouTube channel's URL will be under "Your website." If this info is correct, click Accept association.
  7. You'll be redirected back to YouTube as your "host" site (if you're not redirected, click Redirect).
  8. You're done setting up AdSense! To set your monetization preferences, follow the next steps on the screen.

Your AdSense Publisher ID will be updated on the AdSense Association page. It can take up to 24 hours for our systems to reflect the association after you link your AdSense account to your YouTube channel.
