Multi-channel network (MCN) operations manual
Understand strikes as an MCN
Since your network contains multiple channels, violations of YouTube’s policies by channels you manage may result in penalties for your network.
If a partner receives 10 copyright strikes across their Managed channels in a 90 day period, then the partner is subject to further review, the results of which may include a warning, feature loss (ex. disablement of channel linking), or termination of the partnership agreement. YouTube also reserves the right to evaluate and address abuse at any time, at its discretion.
Use these resources to manage strikes as an MCN:
- Strike basics for content managers: Copyright strikes and their associated penalties are applied to the content owner in addition to YouTube’s channel strike policies.
