Here are the steps for the YouTube app or mobile site.

Watch in full screen
- Tap the video you'd like to watch.
- At the bottom of the video player, tap full screen

On devices with aspect ratios greater than 16:9, you can also zoom in to videos to make the video expand to the full screen.
- Go to the video you'd like to zoom.
- Pinch out on the video screen with 2 fingers.
Note: Devices with aspect ratios greater than 16:9 are taller in relation to the width than the standard phone. 16:9, commonly known as widescreen, is the most common aspect ratio for mobile devices, TVs, and computer monitors, and is the international standard format for HDTV.
Exit full screen
- Tap the video.
- At the bottom of the player, tap full screen exit

If full screen mode isn't working
If you’re watching videos on websites other than YouTube, the option to use full screen mode may be turned off.
