Opt in or out of YouTube emails

Turn on emails from YouTube

You can opt in to get emails about your YouTube activity. General updates and announcements, or personalized tips for your YouTube channel can be selected in your account notification settings.

  1. Sign in to YouTube.
  2. In the top right, click your profile picture  and then Settings .
  3. In the left Menu, click Notifications.
  4. Under “Email notifications” select your preferences.

Turn off emails from YouTube

To turn off an email notification, click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. You can also choose to unsubscribe from certain types of email or all emails from YouTube.
